2015 Lapierre Lineup

Lapierre recently showed off their 2015 lineup.  Here is a rundown of what’s new this year.

  • The new Ultimate Program allows consumers to pick a frame/fork and then customize their choices for wheels, component group, saddle/post.
  • The new e:i Shock Auto is Lapierre’s answer to the electronic smart suspension.  The system utilizes two accelerometers and a sensor at the bottom bracket to detect pedaling cadence and adjust to terrain and input accordingly.
  • A brand new Downhill Bike  featuring 210mm of travel and 27.5″ wheels.  Photos to come shortly – the new model will feature 15-20mm longer reach, and MX inspired suspension with a more progressive rate. Head angle will be 63.7 with +/- 1 degree options.
  • The new X-Control line is a light duty trail lineup with a new frame design with 27.5″ wheels and 100mm travel.
