[Bike Check] Nino Schurter’s Scott Spark with SRAM Eagle 1×12

[ad3]

Today Nino Schurter won the first big race of the year at Monte Tamaro, Switzerland (full race report here). We took a closer look at his bike.

Same frame like last year: Scott Spark full carbon.
The new SRAM Eagle XX1 1×12, 10-50 cassette.
38T chainring.
Ritchey WCS pedals.
SRAM Level Ultimate brakes.
Dugast tires. Their shoulder is quite tall and the wheels are more a 28″ than a 27.5″.
DT Swiss shock, bottomed out. Today’s track was very technical.
Negative stem, small and light Garmin.
Ritchey WCS saddle.
The rear suspension is managed by the Twin Lock remote control.
Ritchey WCS ultralight grips.
1.8 bar in these tubolars.
The 160mm rotor looks quite small compared to the Eagle cassette.
The weight (thanks Yannick!)
