[Bike Check] Olly Wilkins’ Focus Jam C

[ad3]

A few days back we checked in with Olly Wilkins.  He recently signed on with Focus Bikes and jumped aboard the new Jam C.  Olly was crazy ballsy talented enough to ride this single crown trail bike at Nine Knights this year where everyone else was on a full DH bike.  We’d act surprised, but we’re really not…you can follow along with Olly’s antics right here. Some quotes from Olly on the new bike and his continuing partnership with DMR :

‘I’m super excited about this Focus. It’s like it has been designed specifically with myself and the Surrey hills in mind. 140mm of travel with aggressive geometry and a super low weight ticket. Please!’

‘The stiffness that the FOLD link offers is crazy. After picking the bike up for the first time I was expecting a certain amount of flex. It’s super light and I wasn’t thinking it would be as stiff laterally as it is. Paired with my Reynolds wheels this thing comes out of turns like nothing I’ve ridden.’

‘After 13 years riding for DMR there really aren’t any other components I could build my Jam up with. DMR contact points are always gonna be on my bikes and I’m continuing my ‘life’long partnership with those guys for good’
