Nino Schurter’s Special Edition Scott Spark RC

Looking back to the MTB World Championships 2009 in Canberra, Australia, a 23-year old mountain biker called Nino Schurter stepped onto the podium after winning his first MTB Elite World Champion title. Back then, no one could have guessed that this man was about to shape a whole generation of mountain biking in the years to come.

Fast forward to the MTB World Championships 2021 in Val di Sole, Italy, with N1NO dropping the hammer and crowning himself MTB World Champion for the 9th time overall. Undisputed at the top, with an incredible 9 rainbows in the books, it’s time for something special with the 2022 Special Edition of the Spark RC.

Working together with the champ himself on the design, this bike is meant to turn heads. Subtle and clean, yet thrilling, it references all of his past World Champion titles won in the years 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

Color-changing elements reflect the rainbow colors in incredible style and there are many more hidden elements to be discovered. We asked ourselves if there ever will be a bike worth N1NO? In all fairness, we don’t know, but this Spark RC Special Edition comes as close as you can get!

“Earning myself the Rainbows for the 9th time still feels like a dream. Picking my favorite one is impossible though, as each one hold many special memories. I’m really stoked that all of these titles found their way onto my new special edition Spark, so there is absolutely no need to choose a favorite at all.”
