It´s called Off Season for a reason, the Alps are covered with snow and we´d usually go somewhere south and warm to get some riding in. This trip was somehow different, when we landed in Louisville we were welcomed by a raging snow storm and the harshest winter Kentucky has seen for 15 years:
-24 degrees / -11 Fahrenheit, Car wrecks lay scattered over the main highways, shops were closed. Just like i would imagine Armageddon.
Could there be a better place to hide than an abandoned Mine with mild temperatures all year round, perfectly build trails and a coffee shop?
Warning, after watching this you might want to grab a shovel and dig a hole in your garden.
