Shimano just fired us over an email with some light details on two new products coming down the pipe from them. First off, XT cranks in a 165mm length. As BB’s get lower on modern bikes this will be a big hit for some riders. It will also be nice for shorter legged riders and some of the ladies.<\/p>\n

As far as brakes go, here’s what Shimano had to say: “The new hydraulic brake calipers are in line with DEORE XT components designed for a more aggressive riding style. The brakes feature Shimano\u2019s ICE TECHNOLOGIES heat management system through its caliper design, compatible rotors and pads…”<\/em><\/p>\n
