Actually we wanted to meet him for long time (the Stig is laconic)! So, on this special occasion we built him a Shan no5 Factory GTR and we agreed with the Andorran government on preparing a wonderful weather. Having a special bike at hand and without any rain drop insight, the Stig finally accepted to ride!

General Info

The Shan no5 is a full suspension made from 4130 CrMo steel. It’s a true play bike super versatile allowing any kind of ride, from all mountain tours to a week- end at the bike park or an Enduro race.
Just like any other frame of our range the Shan no5 is made from our MCS tubes series which is our tailor made 4130 CrMo steel tubes, double or triple butted and heat treated tubing.

The geo and the chassis design along the use of our tubing give a lively but very tolerant and forgiving ride. This tolerance is a confidence booster, giving a lot grip which will provide you with a large grin on your face!

That being said, the Shan no5 is also almost indestructible!

The Shan no5 has 140mm of rear travel and it’s been designed for 140 to 160mm forks. The implement of a low damping ratio and a close work with Fox on shock settings gives the rider a feeling of having much more travel than it does while maintaining superb manoeuvring and pedalling abilities. The Shan no5 is compatible with 27.5” and 27.5+ wheels.

SHAN No5, COMPLETE BIKE AND ROLLING CHASSIS :

ROLLING CHASSIS:

The rolling chassis option is a new concept at PP allowing to build your Shan no5 more easily!

With the rolling chassis option we provide all the most important and essentials parts of your future build.
