explore the vast dreamland called Farwell Canyon.\u00a0This unique and well-appreciated area was founded and traveled by the pioneers of freeride mountain biking in the early 90s.\u00a0Fortunately for us, SCOTT had just introduced a new tough all-round bike, the perfect way to travel.<\/p>\n<p>The stars were lining up, the emails had been sent and we were planning to head west.<\/p>\n<p><a trip was a bit weird: Calvin and I were in Utah for Rampage when we realized that there was little time before winter hit the north.\u00a0Needless to say, there was a small &#8220;road trip&#8221; to get there.\u00a0The day after the finals, we loaded Calvin&#8217;s van and left Utah to embark on a mission to Canada.\u00a0After a few liters of coffee and more than 30 hours of driving, we were in the wild west of the Cariboo-Chilcotin.\u00a0Arrived late at night, we immediately prepared the camp to rest for the adventures of the following days.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtb-mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/cte26-gallery-3-3-1600x900-1512077_original_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-200544\" place.\u00a0If you put Alaskan off-piste skiing and mountain biking in a blender, you&#8217;ll get Farwell&#8217;s delicious freeride shake.\u00a0As with skiing, conditions must be perfect.\u00a0If it is too sunny and dry the soil will harden and risk killing you when you need to slow down.\u00a0A little rain, and your tires encounter too much friction and do not flow anymore.\u00a0Certain trajectories are also virtually impossible to reach, due to the technical terrain and steeps.\u00a0Last but not least, you have to earn your turns, there is no lift or chair lift, you have to climb with the bike! &#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtb-mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/cte26-gallery-4-2-1600x900-1512079_original_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone of a meteorological system in place there was no time to waste.\u00a0When we got up the sun shone, the place screamed to pedal, and so it all started.\u00a0We lived two full days: from early morning, all the time in the Holy Grail of mountain biking, and then the nights by the fire.\u00a0We were loaded, but then we were struck by the curse of the weather: the rain came, and it made itself felt.\u00a0At this point we had no other option but to leave.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtb-mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Schermata-2019-02-21-alle-19.03.19.jpg\"><img for mountain bikes, we could not wait to go out to demonstrate even more what this bike was capable of.\u00a0This reminded us of the Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n<p>After a quick chat with Curtis Robinson and Dylan Dunkerton of Coastal Crew \/ Coast Gravity Park, we were leaving for our next stop on this road trip.<\/p>\n<p><a seemed to be the golden ticket (the park keys), we started an amazing photo shoot in one of the best parks in the world.\u00a0Without a doubt, the Coast Gravity has some of the most beautiful trails.\u00a0Huge wave quays, perfectly sculpted jumps, it&#8217;s all fluid.\u00a0This place is more cared for your mother&#8217;s plants.\u00a0You can throw yourself in any way, follow it at trail speed and everything is perfect, right from the first time.\u00a0It&#8217;s incredible, it&#8217;s a real blessing to be here.<\/p>\n<p><a
