ho letto, come faccio sempre, i giudizi negativi proprio sul link che hai dato di chain reaction:
The pedals lasted approx 6 weeks before literally falling apart. The nut the holds the body on came undone whist out riding and the body came away from the axle, when I put it back together the seal on the inside would sit correctly due to being damaged when the body came off, they lasted about 3 more rides after that before crapping out completely...
Had these pedals on my carbon exo cranks and the padels have worked them selfs lose and has resulted in my carbon crank arm to snap not happy at all would not recommend these pedals as they are very unreliable and have to tighten them up before everyride
Bought these not so long ago. I have used them a total of 3 times. The first 2 times I actually liked them as they feel really good and secure underfoot. That is until today. I felt what seems to be the left pedal loose on the shaft. Not happy with these.
love the look and feel, you really stick to them..........but on the second trail I attempted, a relatively small crash coming out of a berm sheered them. The axles are solid and obviously robust so they are fine, the plastic however is a let down, it is not tough at all and cannot stand up to any real abuse. The pedals are still ride-able but I am sure another crash will do for them. When that happens I will switch to some metal pedals like the nukeproof Horizons. in essence: only buy if you are very strapped for cash and not planning on pushing yourself, otherwise some slightly more expensive and durable pedals might be a better option........spend money to save money
Really light, very grippy, and look really cool, but after 2 weeks one started to rattle loose. Also, being made of plastic means that if you bash a pin hard then the plastic around it simply bends and you have a bent pin (maybe that's my fault for buying plastic pedals!)
And one of the bolts became loose too.
To be fair, I attached them to a 24" unicycle which I use for urban mucking around, lots of jumping, moderate drops, and consequently lots of bashing against hard surfaces. Maybe these are intended for different/lighter use? I had Hognesium pedals before and think I'll go back to those.
Sure these pedals look nice, but I didn't buy them to be decorations. After only 8 total miles with these pedals on the bike the pedal slipped off its axle. Yes, I installed them properly.
After only two rides I've noticed that half of the pins on one of the pedals had fallen off. Shortly after one of the pedals developed a clicking sound on every pedal stroke. I've checked and tightened the pedal and the click is still there.
