Bad news for Rachel Atherton: during practice in Les Gets she landed heavily on the last jump of the track and injured her Achilles tendon. This means that she will be out of the races for quite a while. Tomorrow she will be transferred home to see what to do. An incident that happens at a delicate moment for Atherton, engaged in developing and promoting their new bike brand.
Good luck healing quickly Rachel!
