New 2016 Maxxis Tyres

[ad3]

Maxxis’s Eurobike announcements for product year 2016 have presented a whole host of new ideas, take a look through the details below.

Double Down Casing For Enduro

.

Our first new feature from Maxxis is the new 2 ply casing named the Double Down. Normally their DH casings have a 60 TPI (weave) engaged in the double casing. With double down there is still a double casing, but the weave is now 120 TPI.

This leads to a lighter weight compared to the downhill version, but is more robust compared to their EXO casings. The new casing is tubeless ready.

New Traditional Tyre Features

Maxxis has introduced some new tyres and sizing for 2016.

The Aggressor is new for 2016 and specific for Enduro.
