It should come as no surprise that Aaron Gwin was fastest in qualifying today.  After all, he loves high speed, loose and dusty tracks being from Southern California.  Danny Hart and Troy Brosnan rounded out the top 3 starting 3.6 back from Gwin.  What is mind blowing is that Rachel Atherton Qualified almost 13 seconds ahead of Manon Carpenter.  She’s next level for sure…Great to see Miranda Miller in the mix just behind in 3rd.  Finn Iles cruised into first place for the men’s juniors, continuing his consistent streak and heading towards a rainbow jersey…Enjoy the photos below and scroll to the bottom to find the full results.

Blenki with a top 10 qualifier. We'd love to see him on the podium again soon. He's just such an exciting rider to watch.

Ratty DNF'd today. Hopefully if he did crash it was an inconsequential one.

Marcelo Gutierrez seemed to place in the top 3 at every qualifier last year. Hopefully he gets his speed back a bit. Still in the top 20 with 17th.
