Crankbrothers New Highline 3 & 7 Dropper Seatpost

Crankbrothers has updated and expanded their range of dropper seat posts by offering two new models in addition to the current Highline. To offer greater range in pricepoint, Crankbrothers has created the flagship Highline 7 and the more accessible Highline 3, with varying technical solutions that determine different list prices. Both use the quick connection system of the remote control cable to the seat post and are equipped with a housing and Jagwire cable. For both models there is the Igus LL system to ensure maximum smoothness with minimum side play.

Highline 7

The Highline 7 uses a hydraulic cartridge with an internal floating piston (IFP) which keeps the oil separate from the pressurized air. The two-bolt head uses the quick coupling system that is already present on the previous Highline. It will be available starting in September and will be sold without a remote (available separately) for € 299.99 with a 4-year warranty.

Highline 3

The Highline 3 is offered in an even greater range of dimensions both in regards to travel and diameter. It uses a simpler and cheaper cartridge, in which oil and pressurized air coexist in the same environment. The head has two simple bolts, without a quick coupling. The price, again excluding the remote control, is € 199.99 with a two-year warranty. It will also be available starting September, except for the 27.2mm diameter version that will enter the range in December.
