Crank Brothers Update Mallet DH, Increase Highline to 160mm

[ad3]

We just had a nice night with Crank Brothers celebrating their 20th anniversary. Tonight they released something that we’ve all been asking for…A longer travel Highline seatpost. After a rough bout with the Kronolog, the Laguna Beach company completely redeemed themselves with the Highline, but we all asked for more travel. Well, we actually got more than expected as it’s now offered in 160mm travel.

Aside from the above info regarding weight and the option of increased, or decreased travel, the Highline dropper post hasn’t changed much. To read our full review, head here. Availability: May 1st

Additionally, the insanely successful (11/12 podiums at 2016 World Champs) Mallet DH got an interesting update as well as a high end offering with some titanium sprinkled throughout for a lower weight should you be willing to pay the price. One new, appealing feature is the addition of a chamfered edge to help the pedals glance away on rock strikes as opposed to hang up. Also, Crank Brothers have added ribbing on the body and their traction pads.
