Today, Evil announced their first e-bike. With 29″ front and rear wheels, modeled after their long travel Wreckoning, the new Epocalypse is a full power brawler. Read along for the more details….
- Shimano EP8 motor with 85 Nm
- 630 Wh battery
- 29″ front and rear wheels
- 170mm from travel / 166mm rear travel
- Delta System suspension
- Flip chip for adjustable geometry
- Superboost+ rear wheel spacing
- Internal, sleeved cable/hose routing
- S, M, L, XL
The Epocalypse is both coil and air friendly. Its battery features a sturdy integrated downtube guard and is removable.
The geometry figures are in line with what you’d expect from a progressive brand like Evil. Long reach, relatively short chainstays – particularly for an e-bike, and a fairly steep 77º seat angle should make for a bike that’s well balanced.
The specs above are for the model shown below…At the moment, we don’t have the full specs on the Fox spec’d bike shown at the top of the article. We will update with that and pricing when it comes our way.
