Today Nukeproof pulls the curtains off of the new Mega, with an all-new suspension platform that’s been converted to a Horst link setup. Nukeproof promises better efficiency but also improves uphill and downhill : the suspension is said to be more active, especially under braking. The linkage has been modified to achieve a compression curve that is a bit more linear in nature.
The chassis has been redesigned to save weight and increase rigidity, while the hydroformed 6061 top tube should help to dampen some vibrations.
Also new for 2016 is the introduction of a 29″ wheeled option which features 150mm of rear travel. The 27.5″ model has 160mm travel.
