The SRAM Quarq power meter XX1

//

Nino Schurter had already posted a picture of his power meter a few weeks ago, but today the meter Quarq XX1 was officially presented.

The carbon cranks are either 170mm or 175mm in length with Q factors of 156 or 168 mm. The BCD is 104mm, and sold separately are chainrings with 32, 34, 36, and 38 teeth. Bottom brackets available are GXP and BB30.

The power meter has been developed in close contact with the XX1 drivetrain for maximum performance and for an integrated aesthetic.

The cadence is measured by an accelerometer, and it’s measurements are also corrected with regards to temperature variations (which otherwise can cause variance in the measured values).

It is also waterproof to IPX7 (1 meter immersion for 30 minutes.)

The price is € 1325-1375 and one of the crowns is between 105 and 127 U.S. dollars.
