Canyon Presents the new 2021 Lux

[Press release] Canyon Bicycles launches the 2021 editions of Lux, the full suspension model for cross-country. The Lux is simply one of the fastest and most capable cross-country bikes seen in action on the World Cup circuits. Lux led our athletes to victory at the ABSA Cape Epic, Leadville 100, Nové Město, Val di Sole, Snowshoe, Lenzerheide and, most recently, at the Mont Sainte Anne World Championships. For 2021, Canyon Lux returns equipped with components generally reserved for bicycles with much higher prices.

.

Seven different Lux models, in a price range from € 2,999 to € 7,499, will be available to the public. All Lux models have carbon frame, 29 wheels, 100mm of rear wheel travel, and a host of functional details such as the Impact Protection Unit frame protection system, tool-less removable Quixle axle, rear thru axle, integrated chain guide, ultralight DT Swiss dropper post and space to mount two bottle cages.

The Lux range is entirely characterized by very light frames; Canyon offers two versions characterized by the different carbon layup. The CF SLX models stand out for their lighter frame (1,662 grams, size M) and forks with 100mm travel, characteristics that make them the perfect option for riders looking for the fastest model and the most aggressive race setup.

For more trail-oriented competitions, riders will appreciate more front suspension travel. In this case, the Lux CF models are the ideal choice thanks to the 110mm travel forks, which provide more cushioning and control, and the 0.5 ° greater steering angle that makes the bike more stable at speed. All Lux models combine exceptional pedaling efficiency and downhill precision.
