Unless you haven’t been on the internet and checked out any bike related news, you’ve probably seen/heard the buzz that Specialized have updated the Enduro for 2017.  The new bike boasts an updated geometry set, SWAT downtube storage, 4 sizes, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost spacing and more…We just published an article summarizing our initial thoughts on the new bike after a trip to the Sunshine Coast in Canada, but for the pertinent technical information, browse the details below.

216mm X 57mm stroke Ohlins STX Air with AutoSag is at the heart of the bike. 170mm of travel on 650b models, 165mm on 29″ models.

SWAT storage is a huge update.  It was first seen in the latest Stumjumpers last year.  Your hydration pack will spend a lot more time in your gear closet now…

The linkage has been beefed up substantially and still utilizes the Shock Block mounting system.  All bearings are the same size throughout the frame, and require the same size allen keys across the board as well.

The updated FSR Linkage with the first full carbon rear end on upper level models. Mid priced bikes feature a carbon front/aluminum rear combo while entry level bikes see aluminum front and rear construction.
