Pyga’s Cully Inspired Throwback Bike

South African brand Pyga, founded in 2010 by Patrick Morewood, former owner of the Morewood bikes, has dedicated an outfitting of its Hyrax to an absolute icon of MTB – the Iron Horse FS Works, the frame with which Dave Cullinan won the DH World Championships of Bromont, Canada, in 1992.

.

The celebratory build of the historic bike that literally conquered the world from Italy with numerous re-brands from other famous brands, is based on a frame obviously made of aluminum, with 140mm of rear travel combined with 150mm of fork travel and 29 inche wheels.

The components are very current but with a deliberately retro look, such as the Onza tires, the purple anodized pieces made by Hope and the pedals of the British brand Pembree which are a special version dedicated to this project.
